DIGESTIVE HEALTH ORGANIZATION ADVISORY BOARD
The DHO Advisory Board consists of members who are leaders in the field of digestive health.

Panelists include:

Leslie Bonci, MPH, RD, LDN, CSSD, is a registered dietitian and has been the Director of Sports Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for 16 years. In her practice, Leslie works with patients who have digestive disorders and often does presentations on nutrition for digestive health. She authored the book, "American Dietetic Association's Guide to Better Digestion," and has worked as the Pittsburgh Steelers' team nutritionist for 16 years. Leslie also served eight years as a spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association and is chair of the SCAN - a dietetic group of the ADA. She has appeared on the Today Show, CNN, ESPN and MSNBC. Currently, she appears on "The Winning Plate," a television segment of a CBS-affiliate morning news show in Pittsburgh and surrounding markets.



Leo Treyzon, M.D., M.S.C.R., is an attending gastroenterologist at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Medicine at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. In 2008, he received a Masters of Science in Clinical Research from UCLA for his research in Obesity at the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition. He was the recipient of a National Institutes of Health Award for clinical research. Dr. Treyzon was also the recipient of the Annenberg Foundation Award in Digestive Disease at UCLA. His clinical and research trial interests include mechanisms of satiety induction, optimal nutrient composition of low-calorie diets, nutrition for digestive disease prevention and workplace health promotion.

Dr. Treyzon received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he was student body president. He completed his M.D. training at the University of California at San Diego. Dr. Treyzon received both internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. He is a Board Certified Diplomate in multiple national subspecialty board organizations.
